I had the great pleasure of driving down to Calgary to photograph Cheryl and Malik as a precursor to their upcoming wedding in November in Canmore, which I am certainly very excited about. They were very gracious hosts, especially after my experience on the Deerfoot Trail in Calgary, which plays host to some of the most annoying traffic jams I’ve ever been a part of and made me quite late for their session despite all the extra time I’d built into my day, but they were very gracious. I had a great time using a lovely private lake in their area as the backdrop for some very nice photos of them, and I am pleased to showcase some of those photos here. After the session we spent a little time talking art, since Malik has an art degree as well. All in all, it was a great experience and I’m looking forward to being a part of their extra-special wedding day. Thanks for trusting me with your images Cheryl and Malik!
