I know Jackie through a couple whose wedding I shot a couple of years ago. She told me she was excited to have photos done when she was pregnant. She wanted some classic studio shots because it was winter. I started working with the family and quickly realized that they can’t do normal, it’s just not even in their make-up. I realized they had a lot of personality and it would be a lot more funny, a lot more “them” if we did a satire photoshoot—a silly homage to everything that makes being a couple special. This session is a really good summary of how not to be a normal person. It’s hard to know what to say about it… it just turned out this way and it worked!
