TEDx Saskatoon

I am pleased to report that I’ve been chosen as the official photographer for TEDx Saskatoon, an offshoot program of the venerable and incredibly interesting TED Events held worldwide, designed to promote the flow of knowledge and ideas that could change the world. I am a huge TED fan, and I love event photography, and I have a nifty new lens (a 50mm) to shoot with, so this should be a great time! I am shooting for free in exchange for attendance and credit, and hope to see many TEDXers enjoying the photography. I will be releasing the photographs to Creative Commons licensing, an innovative way to share creative content developed as a way to allow artists to maintain some rights while sharing their works with the world. Just the kind of idea TED folks would love. =) I’ll be blogging about it in November again, I’m sure!
