Not too long ago I got an awesome email inquiry that started like this: “I was looking at your portfolio pictures and I feel like your style is really suited to our oddball needs.” I instantly knew this was going to be a great couple to photograph! In the end their pet cats did not make it into the photos, but their silly nature sure did! Because David loves politics, they decided to get their portraits taken at the Alberta Legislature grounds – and despite the gross, rainy days that surrounded it, the day they chose for photos was a poufy-cloud, blue sky sort of day! I couldn’t help being super excited about the amazingly green, lush grass at the Legislature grounds since spring has only just started showing in Edmonton. Best of all, it was their anniversary of being together, and they were being all cute and sweet! Well, David was being cute and sweet, and Ashton was laughing and calling him sappy…
